Accessible - Attainable - Collectible - Art
Judi Grenney, co-owner and director of Phoenix Gallery, opened the business in 2002. She has held a life-long appreciation for the talent that goes into creating original works of art and has many years of experience in art sales. Her partners, Linda and Gary Barbour, are long-time art collectors and firm believers in the value of art in the community. Their philosophy is summed up in the Phoenix Gallery tag line; accessible, attainable, collectible art. Grenney and the Barbours believe that art is for everyone, its value far exceeding a price tag. Art is a catalyst for creativity in all aspects of life and it should be nurtured. Some of their goals in opening Phoenix Gallery are to bring high quality art into the lives of everyone who visits, to help make creating art a viable career for the talented artists whose art is represented, and to add to the growing cultural community of Park City.
With that in mind, Phoenix Gallery seeks to represent the best and most talented contemporary artists; both locally and nationally renowned, well-established and emerging. The gallery works very hard on the relationships formed with these artists; respecting their creative talent and encouraging them to produce and bring in their best works, communicating constructive opinions of the clientele, and facilitating meeting and working with clients.
As a venue, Phoenix Gallery offers visitors an accessible eclectic collection of high quality art in a comfortable setting. It is located next to the post office at 508 Main Street in a beautiful historic building. The knowledgeable and friendly art consultants who make up the gallery staff are always willing to share their enthusiasm for art with gallery visitors and they strive to provide them with unique, high-quality works of art paired with exceptional service. Services available from Phoenix Gallery include in-home art consultations, art available on approval, and free local delivery. |
